Responsibilities

• Daily meetings with the UK & Ireland marketing team to establish EMEA priorities/workflow
• Liaising with freelance videographers and sound technicians when necessary
• Pre-production management, shooting and post-production editing
• Filming daily/weekly content to promote mass market/hobby collections, ambassadors and events
• Reviewing raw material to determine best footage to use
• Editing video footage to agreed deadlines
• Adding voiceovers, sound effects, music, graphics and video editing effects
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
• Ensuring projects follow a logical sequence
• Consulting with the UK & Ireland marketing team throughout each project
• Creating final cut for release on Topps social media & digital channels
• Exploring new ways to improve video editing quality, including techniques/software

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to produce high-quality video with previous companies/organisations
• Must be highly competent with editing software – Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects/Premiere Pro) / Final Cut Pro X / Avid Media Composer / Lightworks
• Proven creative and artistic skills
• Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects
• Portfolio of completed video work
• Outstanding video creation craft – including both shooting and editing
• Sports/Entertainment fan with awareness of the commercial landscape
• Understanding of trading card/collectibles industry and consumer behaviour
• Knowledge of requirements of key content channels: YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to change
• Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage workload and priorities autonomously
• Meticulous attention to detail and pride/professionalism in the role
• Proactive, with the ability and confidence to use own initiative
• Ability to translate ideas into complete projects that brilliantly promote Topps products, events and ambassadors
