General Summary

We are looking for a bilingual video editor who can speak English and French. We will not hire you if you cannot speak both languages.

Essential Responsibilities

• Be able to speak English and French fluently as well as read and write it.
• The majority of your role as an editor is to cut down interviews done in English and French and be able to translate it with subtitles.
• Be responsible for cut downs and creative editing choices.
• Go through more than 4 hours of interview content and b-roll.
• Communicate/collaborate with Executive post producer.

Qualifications

To fulfill this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility

• Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English and French
• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing
• Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
• Local to the Sacramento area

Required Skills Include

• Must work well independently and with a team
• Must be timely, organized and exceptionally detailed
• Schedule- 5 day work week, days may vary
• Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm
• Schedule may change based on project
• Must check email and project management system on a consistent basis

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day
