Cox Media Group, Orlando Radio’s WDBO is looking for a part-time On-Air Producer to join our team!

Here at Cox Media Group Orlando Radio, we are a leading company in our industry in the region. WDBO has an immediate opening for a Part-time On-Air Producer/Board Op. The main function of the producer would be to help and assist various syndicated and live shows by creating an enjoyable, entertaining, topical, relatable on-air show content that meets the needs of the specific target audience of the radio station as guided by the Program Director.

Responsibilities

• Flawless technical execution (running the board) for live newscasts, syndicated talk shows, as well as, breaking news and severe weather events
• Ensure smooth on-air content and promotional delivery
• Operate Wheatstone Console, Wide Orbit Automation, Comrex Access, Opal, Adobe Audition, and other broadcast equipment
• Must feel confident speaking live on-air and answer phones and edit listener audio
• Must be able to follow multiple format clocks and be technically savvy
• Must be able to multitask and be very well organized
• Attend station programming meetings, training (per request), station staff meetings (as needed).
• Miscellaneous other duties upon request.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radio experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Requires excellent customer service skills.
• Requires excellent communication skills.
• Requires good interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in English (Bilingual is a plus)
