Podcast Producer with Lighting & Equipment: Full-Time Producer

Podcast Producer is needed in Los Angeles, United States.

My company is looking for a part-time to full-time professional podcast producer (Preferably already with the equipment) to produce 3-Camera shoots + lighting at our West Hollywood Studio.

We are seeking a skilled and creative Podcast Video Producer who not only possesses a strong background in video production but also owns the necessary equipment to produce high-quality podcast videos. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering visually engaging podcast episodes that enhance the overall content and viewer experience.

Responsibilities:

Video Production:

Utilize your expertise in video production to set up, capture, and record podcast episodes with high-quality video and audio.
Operate and maintain your own equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and other necessary gear, to ensure optimal recording conditions.
Collaborate with podcast hosts and guests to ensure they are comfortably positioned and lit for video recording.
Editing and Post-Production:

Edit raw footage to create visually appealing and cohesive podcast video episodes.
Enhance audio quality by cleaning up audio tracks, adding music or sound effects when appropriate, and ensuring balanced levels.
Incorporate graphics, images, and text overlays to enhance the visual storytelling and engagement of the podcast videos.
Implement color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency throughout the episodes.
Content Optimization:

Ensure that podcast videos are optimized for various platforms and screen sizes, maintaining high-quality standards across different devices.
Create compelling video thumbnails and descriptions that entice viewers to click and watch the podcast episodes.
Collaborate with the podcast team to brainstorm and implement creative ideas that elevate the visual elements of the podcast.
Quality Control:

Review final podcast video drafts to identify and rectify any errors, technical glitches, or inconsistencies.
Conduct regular quality checks on your equipment to ensure it’s in proper working condition and make necessary upgrades or replacements when needed.
Project Management:

Manage your production schedule to ensure timely delivery of podcast video episodes.
Coordinate with podcast hosts, guests, and other team members to align recording and editing timelines.
Communicate effectively with the content team, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
Industry Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in video production, podcasting, and online content delivery.
Implement best practices in video production, audio engineering, and visual storytelling to continuously improve the quality of podcast videos.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in video production, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to produce visually engaging and professional videos.
Ownership of essential video and audio equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and accessories.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of audio recording and editing techniques to ensure exceptional sound quality.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for enhancing the visual aspects of podcast videos.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively coordinate recording and editing schedules.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
