How does a candidate fit into this?

• Vendor is building the first data set for their new data warehouse
• Dependent on stored procedures in PL/SQL for their on-prem Oracle DB
• Scope of work is wrapping up and additional work needs to be implemented without them
• Need a PL/SQL Developer to make minor/medium modifications to the stored procedures for enhancements
• Will be live in a pilot state in the next 3 weeks
• Start working on enhancements for production environments sooner than that
• 12-14 stored procedures will be built
• Vendor partner is helping with the hyper care stage to understand the thought process

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Work with data modelers, lead developers to understand how stored procedures need to be modified, testing, and triage
• Not a lot of new development, mainly enhancing and maintaining
• Move data from one layer of the data warehouse to another, transforming when necessary
• Add 3-4 new features (foreign exchange rate info for sales data, adding fields to hold the local and US dollar rate amount)
• Modify and populate the necessary fields
• **Required Skills:**PL/SQL
• ETL experience in the PL/SQL realm
