International Broadcasting Trust (IBT) is a London-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting international journalism and storytelling to create a better understanding of global issues. We work with media professionals and organizations to produce and distribute high-quality content that informs and engages audiences worldwide.
We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Video Editor to join our team at IBT. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing compelling video content that aligns with our mission to promote international journalism and storytelling. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space.
- Video Editing: Edit and assemble video footage, audio, and graphics to create engaging and informative video content.
- Content Enhancement: Enhance video quality, color correction, and audio improvements to ensure high production standards.
- Storytelling: Collaborate with our team to tell impactful and thought-provoking stories through video content.
- Video Production: Participate in the planning and production process of video projects, including script reviews and creative input.
- Deadlines: Meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of finished videos.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on all edited content to maintain consistency and adhere to IBT’s standards.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize video editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) effectively.
- Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software and tools. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Creativity: Strong creative and storytelling abilities with an eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our team remotely.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Passion: A genuine interest in international journalism and global issues is a plus.
