About the Position:

Seeking an Avid Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling to create, edit and output short form documentaries, promos and web clips.

Company Overview:

We are a small, private production facility that shoots and distributes material to support our non-profit organizations initiatives for the web, corporate events, fundraisers, and conferences. The post-production team includes producers, writers, fellow editors and a motion graphics designer.

Location:

This is NOT a remote position. All candidates must be in the Los Angeles area, with ability to come into our office during normal business hours.

Qualifications:

• Experience level, minimum of 3 years
• Expert knowledge in Avid Media Composer and shared storage
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
• Understanding of various codecs for web compression
• Must be able to multi-task, and work under the stress of deadlines
• Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately
• Have a collaborative spirit and approach each project with a creative eye

Position Details:

This position is guaranteed 40 hours per week ($38.00/hr) for two months with the possibility of a on-staff salary position thereafter.
