Primary Function of Position

As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing promotional films, product launch videos, sizzle reels, and documentaries. You will work with a mix of CGI, motion graphics, and live-action content created by internal teams and external production companies. You will report to the Director of Media Production and collaborate with project stakeholders to deliver high-quality edited assets for publishing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver creative edits for promotional and informational videos
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on additional asset development
• Streamline and improve the post-production process
• Mentor and collaborate with other editors on the team
• Create edit punch lists and review cut notes
• Support negotiations for production estimates, talent usage, music licensing, etc.
• Manage multiple projects within budget and timeline
• Track reviews/revisions and communicate changes effectively
• Ensure accuracy of product representation and claims
• Manage data and archive final assets
• Maintain positive relationships across various departments
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet compliance requirements
• Refine the production and post-production process

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

• Strong understanding of video post-production workflow
• Minimum 7 years of creative editorial post-production experience
• Experience working in Agile - Scrum workflow
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition)
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of CGI tools and processes
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with project management tools like Workfront or Jira
• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple projects
• Medical device or regulated industry experience a plus
• BA / BFA / MFA degree preferred in Film, Media, or Fine Arts
