Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage consumer insights into compelling marketing plans which drive MGB business growth and franchise partner profitability
  • Lead the marketing planning process across brand and product categories ensuring long and short term plans deliver the brand strategy and align with the business goals
  • Brief internal design and creative teams, and agency partners, on time to ensure excellent quality work is delivered per the go-to-market process and deadlines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop inspiring, clear briefs which lead to exceptional creative development and implementation guidelines
  • Drive conversations with franchise partner marketing teams to better understand their consumers and business, to support and influence their marketing strategy and tactics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver inspiring seasonal brand events and selling tools to influence assortment planning, big bet adoption and overall order book
  • Measure results and report findings, key learnings and actions to the broader business
  • Inspire, coach and manage direct reports to build confidence, skills and innovative thinking offering training and performance management as needed
  • Brand custodian upholding the brand guidelines and building knowledge across the whole business

About you

  • Considerable experience using consumer insights and data to drive marketing planning
  • Integrated marketing planning across all consumer touchpoints including retail stores, ecommerce, social media and PR
  • Demonstrable trade, franchise or distributor marketing ability, preferably on a global level
  • Creative and commercially minded, enjoys the art and science
  • Measuring results, reporting and action planning
  • Inspiring, empathetic and strong team manager
  • Strong influencing ability โ€“ this role does not have DTC accountability
  • Excellent communicator, who speaks and writes concisely
  • Planning efficiency โ€“ good knowledge of global brands go-to-market processes
  • Excited about our products, the brand and the potential of the business
  • CIM or other marketing qualification desired
