Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and updates of our training workbooks, program books, PowerPoint, etc.
- Create graphics and illustrations and review and revise for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and quality, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and flow
- Communicate and work with the team(s) to ensure content is complete in a timely manner
- Label, sort, and categorize documents for ease of use
- Stay abreast of the latest illustration and graphics trends and content best practices
- Compile and update style guides as required
- Collaborate with team to come up with fresh and creative ideas, keeping our students and clients in mind
- Adhere to regulatory requirements; assist with both internal and external program audits
- Ensure documentation integrity
- Produce company documents and maintain storage and access / quantity accountability
- Follow up with trainees and instructors to collect feedback
- Be a resource for others to support consistent achievement of goals; enlist help to accomplish common tasks
- Self-evaluate performance, create a plan for improvement or growth, and work with management to execute
- Cooperate with the entire team and share information across the organization; always look for ways to provide feedback and opportunities for improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and skills
- Proven illustration and graphic design experience; would like to see a portfolio of your work
- Methodical worker; able to manage multiple projects, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to write clearly and understand direction from varying sources and levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – must be able to speak English. Spanish is a plus
- Outstanding organization skills, extremely detail-oriented and focused with strong time management skills
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Proficient in desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive knowledge of illustration and graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign)
- Dependable; arrives to work on time and utilizes work time efficiently
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Willing to self-evaluate, be open to and provide feedback, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Skilled at identifying issues / problem solving and moving to resolution
- Customer service attitude
- Degree in marketing, graphic design/illustration, or other related profession a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
