Summary:

AtWork is an award-winning staffing franchise based in Knoxville, TN. With almost 100 locations nationwide, we are expanding our marketing team to drive future growth. We are looking for a freelance video partner for about 20 hours per week with potential for additional hours. This person must be based in Knoxville, TN to assist with occasional video shoots. Our marketing team develops both national brand content and supports for local franchise owners. This freelance editor will work with our Videographer and marketing team to edit raw footage to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand for local and national use.

Job Purpose:

Assist the Videographer to edit and create engaging video content within our brand guidelines.

Reporting Relationship and Organizational Impact:

This role will work closely with the Videographer and VP of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software to create polished and impactful on-brand videos.
• Trim, cut, and sequence video clips to create a compelling narrative.
• Enhance video and audio quality through color correction, sound editing, and other post-production techniques.
• Add graphics, text, and animations to enhance the video’s visual appeal.
• Collaborate with videographer and marketing team to understand project goals and ensure the final product aligns with our branding and goals.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and video editing software to continuously improve your skills.
• Assist with video shoots on set from time to time including managing lighting and camera operation and other key elements for filming. Ensure proper lighting, sound, and composition.
• Ensure that all video content meets the company’s quality and brand standards and is error-free before publication.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing corporate content.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of our current equipment including Canon EOS C200, Canon EOS 5D, lens, mics, stabilizers, drone, etc.
• Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, and camera techniques.
• Strong storytelling and creative skills with the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling content.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be on-site to assist with video shoots on occasion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
