**Job Summary:**The Web and Social Media Coordinator is member of the Digital and Creative team. This individual works closely with the Director and supervisor to monitor and address all social media platforms and update Client websites.
- **Daily Duties/Tasks:**Write, create and publish media content
- Help monitor & run all agency social media channels
- Update the digital content calendar and metrics
- Maintain Client public website content in a timely manner
- Collaborate closely with the supervisor to ensure that all content developed for social and digital is platform-native, cohesive across platforms, and in line with social media best practices
- Assist in evaluating, identifying and implementing emerging social media tools for the promotion of agency campaigns and services (ex: Facebook Live, Instagram Stories)
- Assist in creating and sharing emergency preparedness messages when activated
- Update the digital content calendar and metrics trackers as needed in a timely manner
- **Skills:**Excellent communication skills, particularly writing and editing for plain language and AP style
- Experience in with Adobe Creative Cloud applications and social media platforms
- Proficient with social media content management and analytics tools such as preferred
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Twitter Ads a plus
- Must work well independently and as a team member
- Must be available to work after hours and weekends during emergency activations as needed
- Must be comfortable rewriting technical verbiage into plain language for the general public
**Job Type:**Contract
Salary:$28.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Education:
**High school or equivalent (Preferred)**Experience:
- Social Media Coordinator: 4 years (Preferred)
- Write, create and publish media content: 4 years (Preferred)
- Adobe Creative Cloud applications: 3 years (Preferred)
