Job Description

Are you an immediately available Content Marketing Manager, with notable experience within Communications, PR, Marketing or Journalism? We have an exciting, hybrid, 3 - 3-month opportunity for you.

You will help to raise our client’s global profile and increase the level of engagement with its audiences by delivering the organisation’s content strategy. You will ensure a strong pipeline of content is delivered throughout the year that meets the organisation’s members’ needs and its strategic aims.

The role is accountable for the commissioning, editing, drafting, publishing, and evaluation of content. To do this, you will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the content plan in line with the content strategy.
• Have an instinct for storytelling, commissioning and drafting content that will cut through and engage a broad range of audiences.
• Help to develop and manage relationships with journalists and media partners.
• Understand SEO, ensuring content is optimized.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively research content ideas and potential contributors.
• Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded in all aspects of content marketing.
• Take an interest in the macro-environment and how that may impact the organization and its sector.
• Be astute and have excellent judgment.

Requirements

• Degree level education or equivalent.
• Experience in content marketing, including experience in planning, delivering, and reporting.
• Experience working with (or within) digital media teams, including social media and SEO.
• Understanding of SEO and experience in optimizing content.
• A track record of forging successful partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, with excellent grammar and literacy.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels.

This role requires an immediate start and for you to work 35 hours per week. It will pay a base hourly rate of £20 - £22 plus accrual of holiday pay, dependent on experience.
