Location: Raleigh, United States

Contract: Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Support data structures - larger data platforms
• Perform day to day tasks such as nightly processing, linux execution, and handling staff outputs including email, reports, and ftp
• Work on development projects and handle new requests for reports, changes to reports, and tickets
• Understand data sources, including data coming from Oracle and external transfers
• Work independently to troubleshoot and correct failures
• Participate in project meetings and team meetings
• Represent the team in meetings when needed
• Additional experience with tools like Oracle, Amazon S3 files, and SQL are beneficial
• Full-time position with hybrid work in Raleigh/Enact office Tuesday-Thursday
• Perform design, development, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and 24x7 on-call support for automated or ad-hoc IT Cloud Engineering/Data Reporting tasks

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with reporting and/or analytics technologies support using base SAS software, Enterprise Guide, PCSAS, or Studio in conjunction with large libraries of SAS datasets
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux shell scripting and automated or scheduled execution processing
• Experience researching data and/or coding problems and handling after-hours calls for production issues
• Working knowledge of electronic data/file transfers and security concepts
• Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, and storage technologies
• Solid written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial, insurance, or mortgage industry systems and data
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, Tableau, Amazon S3, mainframe processing, or Vista plus reporting
• Experience independently solving technical problems
