Job Description

As a Golang Developer for Comcast, you will be responsible for strong hands-on programming in Golang, with exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. A robust Linux background is essential, along with experience in Linux OS, PKI Certificate management, and SSH Key management. You will also need a good understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, and various authentication mechanisms like Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Key responsibilities include developing new functional features, debugging and resolving software defects, maintaining high standards for code quality, participating in solution design sessions, document solutions, and breaking down business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Golang programming.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux background, including working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with PKI Certificate management and SSH Key management.
• Good understanding of Active Directory/LDAP, user/group structures, and querying techniques.
• Experience with open-source components/libraries such as DNS, certificate management, LDAP schema, and PAM authentication on Linux.
• Understanding of Access and Authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA).
• Ability to develop new features and debug software defects.
• Maintain high code quality and optimize solutions through refactoring.
• Participate in solution design sessions to analyze options.
• Document solutions accurately and decompose business requirements.
• Assess effort accurately to complete work.
• Knowledge of code reverse engineering techniques to analyze existing code.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The recruitment process includes a first round (30 minutes) with the hiring manager and a potential second round that may be in-person with a panel.
