Job Description

We are looking for a Big Data Engineer or Java Developer with strong experience in Big Data to join our team. The role will involve working on Big Data Engineering projects, coding in Java, building data flows using NiFi, and utilizing technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and MySQL/PostgreSQL. Experience with Azure/AWS/Cloudera and knowledge of ElasticSearch and SQL are also required. The role may require occasional onsite work at our O’Fallon, Missouri location.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Big Data Engineering or Java Development
• Proficiency in Spark, Java, and Hadoop
• Knowledge of NiFi and ability to build data flows using the tool
• Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and familiarity with Oracle and Cloud technologies
• Understanding of SQL and ability to write queries
• Experience with ElasticSearch and knowledge of real-time/machine learning concepts (a plus)

Additional Information

• Full-time contract position with a targeted start date of Dec 01 or later
• Occasional onsite work required (2 days a week) at our O’Fallon, Missouri location
• Glider Tech Test required: Bigdata Engineer(v2)
• Salary starting from $50.00 per hour
• 8-hour shift schedule
