Job Description

Lea Schein Studio is seeking a freelance photographer/videographer and social media editor for a hybrid role at our Los Angeles, CA studio. This position is primarily responsible for capturing photos and videos and editing for social media. The ideal candidate will be highly creative with a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of photo editing software, and experience with social media marketing. The position requires several days a month of content documentation and offsite editing and prep for social media posts. We have a large upcoming residential project in Los Angeles. We are looking to document the construction process and design decision-making process through Instagram. Some offsite visits to showrooms and different vendor offices are also possible. Opportunities for a more full-time position are also possible.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in photography, photo editing, or social media marketing
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Lightroom and Photoshop, as well as experience with social media platforms
• Skilled in photography equipment, methods, and techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• A portfolio of previous work showcasing a strong ability to capture, edit, and compose images and successful social media campaigns
• Experience with Instagram use for business
• Los Angeles-based with a willingness to travel
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a car
• Has a flexible schedule and a willingness to take on extra work when needed
