Job Description
The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing sales and consumption of Red Bull through field marketing in their region. They will work in locations and communities across the region to increase brand visibility, product availability, brand experiences, and product consumption. They will work closely with sales teams and find new business opportunities to impact local consumers and develop the business. This is not a typical office job, as the manager will be out in the field ensuring Red Bull is relevant and present at the right places and times.
Requirements
- Excellent marketing experience, preferably in brand/sports/culture and/or field marketing
- Strong experience in line management, including hiring, training, and motivating teams
- Ideally, experience working with commercial teams (sales or trade marketing)
- Proven background in negotiation and budget management
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Strong understanding of consumer trends and insights
- A creative marketer with brand understanding and innovation
- Strong understanding of youth culture, particularly in sports and culture
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in cross-functional teams with different objectives and personalities

Red Bull UK is recruiting for a Field Marketing Manager for a fixed-term contract of 12 months. The role will be based in London, UK. The manager will be responsible for growing sales and consumption of Red Bull through field marketing in their region. They will work in various locations and communities to increase brand visibility, product availability, brand experiences, and product consumption. They will work closely with the sales teams, find new business opportunities, and impact local consumers to develop the business.
Strategic Direction
The Field Marketing Manager will infuse global and national Red Bull priorities, strategies, and the Red Bull philosophy in the field. They will have an in-depth understanding of the consumer in the region and use this knowledge to generate and execute local ideas that build brand image and increase understanding of product functionality. The manager will use trial and awareness, sales, and regional intelligence to make strategic decisions, sharing market insights with the team. They will work with the regional sales team to build availability and increase product consideration in key outlets and environments.
Implementation of Regional Marketing Plan
The Field Marketing Manager will create and support local key events, scenes, and marketing opportunities that align with Red Bull brand values and are relevant to the local consumer and media landscape. They will ensure a positive consumer experience at events and all other field marketing activities. The manager will own relationships with key influencers in the region and secure, manage, and activate new distribution points for Red Bull. They will plan and deliver regionally important Red Bull titled events if appropriate for the region. The manager will also work with the Head of Field Marketing to bring national marketing assets closer to consumers in the region.
Marketing Innovation
The Field Marketing Manager will understand the latest generational trends by being close to consumers and talking to networks across multiple scenes. They will involve their team in idea generation and capitalizing on personal/university lifestyle to identify consumer trends early. The manager will create new and innovative ideas that bring the brand to life and capitalize on new business opportunities. They will ensure that digital and social media are central to all field marketing activities and selectively support cross-marketing opportunities.
Organizational Capabilities and Enabling Structure
The Field Marketing Manager will act as a role model to their team and display the Red Bull values. They will source, hire, train, and manage a diverse team of Field Marketing Specialists. The manager will set regional objectives and clear goals, provide ongoing coaching and support, and identify development needs of the team members. They will also train the team on brand strategies and relevant execution guidelines. The manager will implement and uphold a logistical system for warehousing and infrastructure, manage the regional budget, and identify cost-saving opportunities. They will also manage field expenses and general administration, build partnerships, and share best practices with international counterparts and markets.
