Job Description

Homes for Students is seeking an ambitious Marketing Executive (Mandarin Speaking) to help deliver a robust marketing strategy to support marketing efforts in the UK and China. This role will involve assisting with 3rd party relationships, contributing to marketing tasks, providing cultural advice and translation services (Mandarin), and supporting social media presence on platforms such as WeChat, RED, and Weibo. The Marketing Executive will also assist with graphic design briefs, online campaigns, digital action plans, content writing, and working with 3rd party agencies. Infrequent travel to properties across the UK is required.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken Mandarin skills
• Very strong written English skills for content writing
• Experience with web, social media, and email marketing campaigns (desirable)
• Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Educated to a degree level in Marketing, Business, or English/Journalism
• Experience working with Chinese social media influencers
• Experience of marketing in the student sector
• Experience of budgetary management and working to financial regulations

• Working hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Frequent use of Mandarin language
