Contract: Part Time

Job Description:

World Relief is seeking a Part-Time Video Editor who will be responsible for the post-production process, turning raw video footage into engaging, well-edited videos. The Video Editor will collaborate with the content creation team to ensure that videos meet objectives and vision. Responsibilities include video editing, quality control, project organization, and offering creative input.

Requirements:

  • Mature and personal Christian faith
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing work
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of videography techniques, lighting, and sound
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality videos
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for video editing and a desire to continually improve skills

Additional Information:

  • Pay Range: $25-28
  • Part-time position (25 hours or more per week)

Physical Demands:

The employee must have ordinary ambulatory skills, the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights. Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, as well as visual acuity, are required. The employee may also be required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a general office setting, with the option for hybrid and remote schedules for limited positions. The employee will spend significant time working on a computer, reading from a computer screen, entering information, and may be required to lift and bend during year-end archiving activities.
