Job Description

Sharp Focus, a successful South London video production company, is seeking a skilled video editor with a real knowledge and understanding of high-performance sports. The projects will involve demonstrating a breadth of understanding and are not social media shorts or highlights packages. The key responsibilities for the role include:

• Editing sports and documentary videos
• Demonstrating understanding of high-performance sports
• Working with Adobe Premier Pro/Creative Cloud
• Creating graphics and Visual FX
• Collaborating with the team and having a strong work ethic
• Possibly filming interviews and action with cinema cameras

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the following requirements are essential:

• Proven track record as a skilled sports/documentary editor
• Demonstrable understanding of high-performance sports
• Knowledge and understanding of cricket (a real positive)
• Proficiency with Adobe Premier Pro/Creative Cloud
• Skills in graphics and Visual FX
• Ability to work well within a team and possess a strong work ethic
• Ability to film interviews and action (with cinema cameras) is an advantage

Other Information

• Start Date: January 2024
• Studio based near Brixton, South London
• Six-month contract, potentially extendable if well suited
• Fee range: £2,250 - £2,750 per month
