Job Description

The User Experience Designer II will be responsible for leading the end-to-end UX research and high-fidelity UI design of projects from discovery through development review. They will also help manage the development of design system components and provide support and documentation for internal users. The designer will be an advocate for UX and design systems to improve usability and accessibility.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a digital design profession, with a focus on UX, UI, interaction design, or product design. They should also have at least 1 year of experience working on design systems and be proficient in Figma and prototyping tools. Knowledge of accessibility standards and experience designing for desktop and mobile environments is essential.

Additional Information

The position is a remote, 12+ month contract role and the candidate must be available during work hours for collaboration. A strong portfolio with case studies demonstrating mobile-first product design work and experience contributing to design systems is required. Bonus skills include experience with UI animation and illustration, HTML/CSS knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

The hourly pay range is $50.00 - $60.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance.
