Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Frontend Web Developer for a long-term position with a client

• Position: Frontend Web Developer
• Rate: $60/hr - $72/hr (DOE)
• Visa - GC/USC Only
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Duration: Long Term contract with the possibility of conversion

Essential Functions:

• Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, custom theme development, architecture, and standards.
• Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, ES6, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of modern web development tools: HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
• Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, autoloading, namespacing, traits, interfaces, etc).
• Experience with responsive front-end frameworks (i.e., Bootstrap, Foundation by ZURB).
• Knowledge of SCSS compilers and modern web workflow tools.
• Ability to use and extend build tools like gulp and Webpack.
• Familiarity with package managers such as Composer and NPM.
• Experience integrating web and third-party APIs.
• Website quality control testing, browser compatibility testing, and debugging experience.

Requirements

• Experience with Loyalty/Reward Program.
• JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, MySql, Gulp, Webpack, SCSS.
