Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Front End Web Application & Mobile Application Developer to help us finish the development of our web and mobile applications. This is an initial contract role focused on completing the current build. After successful delivery, there will be opportunity for ongoing contract work to support updates, enhancements, and maintenance.

The business is located in Georgetown, TX. While this job is primarily remote, we do require weekly in-person meetings in Georgetown. We also expect regular communication throughout the week. Odd hours are acceptable as long as updates and communication are consistent. We are flexible and will work around your current employment schedule.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React and React Native (must-have).
• IBM Cloud experience is required — including deployment, integration, and app services.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready web and mobile applications.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and state management.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Stripe.js experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete front-end development of a web application and mobile application.
• Ensure responsiveness, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Debug, test, and refine existing code to ensure functionality and scalability.
• Provide long-term support for updates, bug fixes, and new feature rollouts.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile app deployment (iOS App Store, Google Play).
• UI/UX design skills for enhancing user experience.
• Knowledge of backend integration and multi-cloud services.

Contract Details

• Initial Contract: Project-based (to finish current application).
• Ongoing Work: Flexible, contract-based support for updates and maintenance.
• Competitive hourly/project rate, based on experience.
