Job Description

The Broadcast, Videographer, and Photography Specialist will be responsible for supporting our growth in innovative research, particularly low-cost technology, to reduce global health disparities, expand healthcare access, and innovate healthcare solutions that improve survival especially in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). We are looking for creative individuals with the ability and initiative to help us connect with the public, including potential and existing collaborators and partners. This is a part-time position with a duration of 6 - 12 months. Position is hybrid and will require some onsite visits. All candidates must be able to share a portfolio.

Job Duties

• Conceptualizes, produces and edits original content for various platforms.
• Researches social trends in relation to videos.
• Researches video concepts and gather relevant assets for ongoing projects.
• Writes scripts and develop storyboards.
• Creates graphics and animations.
• Records and edits video content including audio.
• Maintains records of all projects.
• Assists with maintenance of media related equipment, facilities and supplies.
• Provides day-to-day communications and general project support for multidisciplinary programs.
• Engages with potential and existing stakeholders to support initiatives.
• Attends, and occasionally moderates, meetings.
• Represents Baylor Global Programs at local events as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally as possible (all expenses paid).

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• No experience required with Bachelor’s degree.
