Contract: Full-time, Contract

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain databases for various applications and systems
• Create and optimize database queries for performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions
• Perform data modeling and database design to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or other similar tools
• Write and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and optimization
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages
• Experience with data modeling tools and techniques
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java
• Understanding of server architecture and administration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Additional Information

• This is not an entry-level position. Previous experience as a Database Developer or a similar role is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
• Bonus opportunities

Experience level:

• 2 years
• 3 years

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
