Job Description

Seeking consultants that will participate on a Global DBA team. The team will ensure that the new database code meets company standards for readability, reliability, and performance. Each week, the team will provide developers with a list of the top 10 most resource-intensive queries on the server and suggest methods to improve performance on each. Additionally, responsibilities include:

• Designing indexes for existing applications, deciding when to add or remove indexes.
• Assisting developers in improving query performance by tweaking queries or modifying indexes.
• Conducting SQL Server lunch-and-learn sessions for application developers.
• Advising developers on the most efficient database designs (tables, datatypes, stored procedures, functions, etc.)
