Job Description

Arlluk Technology Solutions is seeking a part-time Software Engineer with a Public Trust Clearance to support government projects. The role involves analyzing COBOL code, developing system requirements, refining user stories, and supporting testing and backlog refinement. This is a remote opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of application programming structures and languages.
• Experience with COBOL programming language.
• Experience with large legacy system migrations.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and agile development concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Technology, or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).

Working Environment & Conditions

This role operates in a professional office environment with low to moderate noise levels. It involves the use of standard office equipment and may require sitting for extended periods.

The position is indoors with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Specific vision abilities and the ability to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate stress are necessary.
