Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various projects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of video editing software and techniques, as well as a keen eye for detail and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, visual consistency, and engaging storytelling
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and execute them effectively
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video according to the script or storyboard
• Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and other elements to enhance the overall video production
• Ensure that the final product meets the client’s specifications and is delivered within the given timeframe
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new editing techniques to continuously improve your skills

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other video editing software
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and After Effects
• Familiarity with different video formats, codecs, and resolutions
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through visuals

Other Information

• Job Type: Freelance
• Salary: $16.55-$29.41 per hour
• Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
• Benefits: Flexible schedule, On-site parking

• Experience: Video editing: 4 years (preferred)
