Job Description

The Art Director is responsible for conceptualizing and executing designs for assigned brands and projects, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, campaign goals, and current trends. They handle image selection, cropping, retouching, typography, messaging hierarchy, and overall design.

Art Directors also uphold internal processes and workflows, collaborate with account teams, defend creative choices, and provide recommendations for client work improvement based on knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have an advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Graphic Design Skills, Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro, Mastery of Layout and Design, Knowledge of Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Orientation, Constructive Criticism, and a strong Team Player mentality.

They should possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and/or Final Cut, keen attention to detail, high organizational skills, ability to adapt quickly, strong communication skills, exceptional design portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with high-profile clients.

Additional Information

The role involves handling multiple design projects across various formats, participating in new business pitches, maintaining and evolving technical knowledge, and contributing creative ideas towards the development of clients’ brands and initiatives.

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Animate, and/or Aero are considered as additional advantageous skills for this role.
