Digital Marketer is needed in Columbus, United States.

Non negotiable: You must be local to the area and open to travelling across the East Coast, this is not a remote role.

Employment: Project based - 3 months

Are you passionate about sports, events, and driving ticket sales? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can apply your marketing expertise to promote exciting sporting events? We are seeking a talented Freelance Marketer specializing in sports events and ticket sales.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development of the overall event marketing plan, budget allocation, and calendar: including local audience identification
• Brief and feedback on paid plans: create ATL plans using the current media planning / buying agency, feeding in your local insight, and inspiration and guidance.
• Build digital marketing plans with the appointed digital agency.
• Develop local partnerships
• Conduct research, outreach and plans for new potential marketing partners
• Consult on influencer and activation / stunt plans
• Consult on local PR plans
• Campaign co-ordination/review
• Overall campaign management
• Client management and reporting including weekly status calls and email updates

SKILLS NEEDED

• Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on sports events and ticket sales.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, particularly in the context of promoting events and driving ticket sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for sports and events.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

We are looking for immediately available candidates for a 3 month project.
