Location: Richmond, VA

Contract: Temporary

Job Description:

• Gather requirements and information from subject matter experts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the technical aspects of the products/solutions.
• Author comprehensive documentation that explains complex technical information in a simple and easy-to-understand manner for end-users.
• Ensure consistency in content, terminology, and writing style across all documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and writing standards.
• Continuously update existing documentation to reflect product changes and enhancements.
• Proficient in using relevant authoring tools and content management systems.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of proven experience in systems documentation including user documentation, how-to guides, integration guides, and product specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Experience working with technical experts to ensure accuracy and understanding of information.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Strong research and analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office or Google Docs.

Other Information:

**Must be willing and able to interview onsite, NO exceptions**

**Must be able to work onsite at least 3 days/week**

**Must be local to Richmond**

This engagement may be extended beyond 6/30/24, possibly 6-12+ months
