Job Description

The Temp Graphic Designer role supports the Senior Manager, Print & Event Marketing and the Marketing Team with the execution of packaging and design of other printed marketing materials for the North American market. The position is a 6-month temporary assignment starting in mid-July.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include collaborating on toy packaging localization, reviewing packaging for accuracy, applying style guides, designing various retail materials, creating print pieces, managing production of signage and packaging mock-ups, brainstorming creative ideas, managing time effectively, and adhering to company guidelines and safety regulations.

Position Skills

The ideal candidate should possess skills such as following brand guidelines, graphic design principles, strong attention to detail, communication skills, project management capabilities, adaptability to change, creative brainstorming, proficiency in Adobe software, proper file setup for print, creating mock-ups by hand, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Education and/or Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in Graphics Arts with a focus on print design, or a suitable combination of education and experience. A digital portfolio showcasing past design projects is required.

Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, with some hybrid work flexibility. Standard office equipment like computers and phones are used routinely.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hybrid position, requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Specific work hours are based on business needs, with occasional evening or weekend work possible.

Travel

Local travel during business hours may be expected up to 5% of the time.
