My company, Materico.mu, based in Mauritius, is looking for a mid-level freelance interior designer for a contract-based, part-time role in Polokwane, South Africa. The project involves the corporate renovation of a funeral home. Our needs include site visits, contractor coordination, as well as some drafting and 3D rendering. We’re planning the project now, and expect the first flagship branch to be completed in the next few months. While the design and development specifics will be provided, the overall style should fulfill the clients’ needs and reflect an emotionally relatable funeral home atmosphere that offers comfort to guests. There will be a need for the interior designer to be present at the project location for a day or two, but most of the work can be done remotely.
