Job Description

This role is for a UI Engineer based in Lexington, Massachusetts. The position requires working onsite 3 days a week and involves collaborating with clinical, life science, biotech, or pharma industries. Specific responsibilities include translating designs into code, creating scientific visualizations, ensuring UI responsiveness and performance, promoting accessibility and usability, collaborating with team members, building reusable components, testing and optimizing UIs, and embracing agile methodologies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 5 years of experience in web application development, expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, and Vue.js, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and experience in agile environments.

Additional Information

Pay for the position is between $70.00 - $75.00 per hour for a 12-month contract. Local candidates in the Lexington area are preferred, and the role requires someone with a strong foundation in front-end development skills such as Angular, React, and Vue.js. Having a portfolio showcasing UI development work, familiarity with Vue.js-specific libraries, and understanding of biological data formats are highly desired.
