Job Description:
The New York Post is seeking a Part-Time Photo Editor to join their photo team. This role involves reacting to live breaking news, researching news, sports, and political events, photo editing, completing photo requests, creating visually appealing composites, pitching photos for stories, and negotiating rates with agencies and photographers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in multi-platform media, excellent news judgment, a keen eye for engaging content, research skills, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Other Information:
The pay range for this position is $20/hr - $40/hr.
