Job Description

Glass Factory is seeking a long-form video editor to join their team. The role will report directly to the Head Video Manager and involves editing long-form videos (between 5-15 minutes) while adhering to established editing guidelines and protocols. The position will start as a freelance role with the potential for a longer-term commitment, due to the high volume of content needing editing. The ideal candidate will need to work collaboratively across functions and possess the ability to influence and motivate team members while also contributing innovative ideas. The company focuses on content-driven communication and prioritizes quality in video production.

Requirements

• Portfolio consisting of at least 5 projects showcasing different video elements.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in the creative space as a freelancer or editor.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe After Effects, and Soundly is an asset.
• Excellent typography skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for the fashion and entertainment industry.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in sound design is a plus.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Solution-oriented mindset and a can-do attitude towards overcoming challenges.
