REVOLT is the leading Black-owned and operated multimedia platform servicing content 24/7 across digital, linear, and live media channels. The platform produces rich content and original material with the biggest names in hip hop, along with reports of breaking news, current events, trends, and announcements within the Black cultural movement and hip hop world. REVOLT’s Creative Services team is seeking a talented, innovative, and proven Motion Graphic Artist team to support the creation of cutting-edge motion graphics and animations for multi-media platforms, including linear television, digital, and social. This role requires a conceptual, strategic thinker and a collaborative team player. You will work with a team of creative professionals on multiple projects, asset management, and project deliverables.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Rock star motion designer with 5+ years of motion graphics experience, ideally in corporate, agency, in-house creative, commercial and/or production design environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and knowledge of Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Davinci Resolve, or similar software a real nice plus.
• Ability to effectively create 2D, 3D, and 4D motion graphics with a keen eye for strong visuals and high-level aesthetics.
• Experience executing in-show television graphics and working knowledge of in-show graphic elements.
• Understanding of file compression, ideal export specifications, and delivery to multiple media formats.
• High-level attention to detail and organization (file naming, project layout, and organization).
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable multitasking multiple projects at once.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to take direction.
• Willingness to work long hours and the occasional weekend if necessary.
• Demonstrated participation in the culture in a genuine way, with cultural taste in design, art direction, music, fashion, technology, etc.
• Desire to learn new techniques, software, and technologies.
• Strong online portfolio and resume demonstrating experience and knowledge of design tools.
• Must pass the vibe check.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Conceiving, developing, and executing visually stunning graphic and motion designs across multiple platforms.
• Managing motion projects from conception to delivery, including ideation, brainstorming, mockups, versioning, notes, and final delivery.
• Ensuring brand consistency throughout various projects and elevating the REVOLT visual brand and aesthetic.
• Designing and creating all in-show GFX packages, including show open, bumps, lower thirds, backgrounds, and more.
• Animating still graphics and logos created by graphic designers.
• Creating original motion graphic designs and updating graphic templates.
• Providing weekly status updates of your projects to keep teams aware of progress.
• Participating in brainstorms and contributing ideas and concepts.
• Maintaining an organized library of project files utilizing file storage platforms.
• Adhering to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
