Role Overview: We are looking for a Midweight Video Editor to join on a fixed term contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a working history at a production, agency, media owner, or brand environment, and experience editing branded content for online platforms while working to tight deadlines and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

Skills and experience we’d like you to have:

• Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher, or brand.
• Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere.
• High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering.
• Passion for social and branded content.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving, and creativity on a daily basis.
• Confidence in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

What the opportunity looks like

• Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere across commercial, social, and marketing projects.
• Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level.
• Assist other editors under the guidance of Senior Video Editors.
• Support ad-hoc shoot duties, such as DITing.
• Stay updated with video trends and provide feedback.
• Perform colour correction and grading, conforming to broadcast and social standards.
• Source audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well-mastered tracks across multiple layers.
• Ensure content is produced within brand guidelines and aligns with LADbible Group channels.
• Follow direction of Lead and Senior Video Editors to complete editing tasks.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects to a high standard.
• Guide and teach junior members of the video team best practices.
• Maintain hard drives and archives.
