Location: Chicago, IL (5 days onsite)

Contract Role

Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of fullstack applications using Node.js and React. The role emphasizes architecting and implementing scalable and maintainable backend systems, developing robust front-end applications, collaborating with designers and product managers, mentoring junior developers, defining coding standards, participating in code reviews, optimizing performance strategies, staying updated on web development trends, and contributing to internal tools and processes.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• 8+ years of experience in fullstack web development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and React
• Experience with various backend frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS)
• Experience with front-end libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router)
• Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
