Raspberry Pi parallelization of multiple peripherals, low latency, UK based

Developer is needed in United Kingdom.

We’re a small startup in Brighton, UK looking to integrate a number of peripheral devices into a single RPi 5. An HQ camera running at 50-100FPS and 8-10 other devices such as beam breakers and motion detectors into the 40pin GPIO. Our intern has finished alpha/evals and we think we can squeeze all these devices on a single RPi.
We’re looking to hire a more knowledgeable engineer to ensure realtime monitoring/operations by all devices. Our temporal resolution needs to be ~1ms for offline analysis, and for now we use PTP/NTP and system clock timestamping.
The contract is expected to last 1-3months depending on hours/week. If successful, there are future opportunities for contracts or permanent employment by summer/fall.
We are ONLY LOOKING for UK-based contractors as we expect 1 day /week attendance at our Brighton and/or London work spaces. Remote work is possible otherwise.
We are open to hourly contracts, but prefer a flat rate - or limits on hours for completing the job as we have limited budget for this prototype system.
