The role involves various responsibilities related to the briefing and compilation of music albums across different genres, ensuring quality control, managing communications with partner labels, and seeking out new musical talent.

Requirements

- Good operational knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools

- Strong understanding of music theory and a musically open-minded approach

- Excellent practical understanding of the music creation process, including writing, producing, recording, mixing, and mastering

- Highly self-motivated, driven, flexible, and capable of working independently with initiative

- Ability to efficiently prioritize workload to meet deadlines

- A clear understanding of quality expectations and ability to provide actionable creative feedback to composers

- Excellent communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor

- Flexible, effective, and enthusiastic approach to the role

Additional Information

This role includes the responsibility to brief composers, compile albums from existing material, process albums delivered by partner labels, and sign new artists/composers/producers. It also requires collaboration with the Production Manager for new label deals and negotiations.
