I am currently senior student at Virginia Commonwealth University working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Kinetic Imaging and a minor in Sound Design. I have 3 years of experience as a freelance sound designer and mixer working on independent art projects and installations. I am proficient in most major DAWs, working mainly in Reaper and Ableton Live, and have extensive experience working with a variety of audio recording equipment. While in school, I have worked on various projects independently and with staff and peers that involve editing, mixing, and mastering audio for video and animation. For the past year, I have been working in technical audio support at the VCU Workshop's Audio Studio and provide orientations in basic studio recording to students across university departments. I am also currently interning at Blackbird Literary Podcast, where I design soundtracks, compose scores and clean up dialogue on spoken segments of short stories, poems, and interviews each podcast episode. As a future career, I intend on working with bands as a live audio engineer, mixing sound for venues and theaters across the United States.
