    Indonesian Film Festival

[IFFestNY](https://www.twine.net/signin is an annual film festival in New York City that celebrates Indonesian culture through cinema.

[IFFestNY’24](https://www.twine.net/signin the festival’s 5th edition, showcases 10 short films and 4 feature films from Indonesia and the Indonesian-American diaspora, featuring both veteran and emerging filmmakers.

Supported by the Indonesian Consulate in New York and Jakarta-based organizations, the festival embodies a collaborative cultural effort. The visual identity for IFFestNY’24 is inspired by traditional Indonesian shadow puppetry, incorporating silhouettes of cultural symbols like the Garuda bird, Kancil, and angklung. Simple black lines and the Neue Haas Grotesk typeface complement the diverse film visuals.
