For the past seven years, my Nikon DSLR and I have captured thousands of manually exposed photographs ranging from portraiture to macro images to documentation of artwork made by local artists. I love capturing the details and textures that make each subject unique and teasing out their full potential in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. In addition to the countless images I have edited for both my artist clients and my personal records, I had the opportunity to digitize and edit over 600 images on behalf of Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2025, where I recently received my MFA. This methodical process involved matching colors in a digital image with its physical counterpart, removing dust and other imperfections from the photograph, and employing masks to spot-tweak exposure so each image was as accurate as possible to its original. I am confident in my abilities to achieve a consistent standard that meets brand expectations. In addition, I had the pleasure of creating seven hand-drawn illustrations for a book published in 2024. I worked closely with the author, ensured all illustrations aligned with her theme and brand, took feedback and adjusted my illustrations when necessary, and met all publishing deadlines. I have carried a passion for photography since I got my first point-and-shoot camera as a kid, and I would love to put this passion to work as a freelancer for the client.
