I studied Journalism, but my real love is directing reality and scripted television. I quickly followed that passion and devoted myself entirely to directing, working as a director, director of photography and editor on a wide range of television programs and documentaries. To date I have directed two cinema films, Brugklas: de tijd van m’n leven (2019), which earned Golden Film status within three weeks, and Leeuwin (2023), an international success at festivals around the world with multiple top prizes and audiences worldwide; German cinemas will screen Leeuwin from April 2025.
