Reid Haefer

My overarching interest is providing sound, data-driven information that others can use to help make difficult decisions about a wide array of topics. My experience is at the intersection of decision making and data science, helping to bridge the gap between those who are doing analysis and those who are making decisions; this includes the ability to develop and employ custom data science workflows and to communicate the results in professional settings. My work often includes the development of data science workflows, modeling, GIS, data visualization, interactive data tools, dashboards, and more, using R (tidyverse, ggplot2, plotly, shiny) & Python (pandas, numpy, playwright, plotnine). Examples of my work include:

• Automated data pipelines using Python/R/SQL
• Utilization of AI tools to increase workflow efficiency
• Web-based data visualization dashboards/tools
• Custom data analysis to understand understand trends, make predictions/forecasts, and discover quantitative insights.
