Ricciano “Ricco” Lumpkins

I’m Ricciano ‘Ricco’ Lumpkins, a Grammy-nominated and award-winning producer, engineer, songwriter, and publisher with decades in the music industry. I’ve built independent publishing and production platforms, developed new talent, and delivered music across Pop, R&B, Hip-hop, Trap, Urban, and Folk Rock. I’ve overseen sessions from recording to mastering, licensed music for soundtracks and video games, and helped artists reach a wider audience with compelling sonic storytelling.

Beyond making records, I teach and mentor through universities and online programs, sharing practical industry know-how in business, production, and distribution. I’ve led academic departments, launched digital music initiatives, and collaborated with creators worldwide to bring songs from idea to release while navigating the changing landscape of music publishing and rights management.
