I’m applying for the short-form video editing role focused on EDM pop-up event recaps. This project aligns closely with my experience editing music-driven content and club-style visuals. I have extensive experience editing video content within the music space and have edited over 50 music videos, along with design and film work for more than 100 clients across the Australian music industry. A large portion of my work involves cutting high-energy footage to music, creating strong pacing, and building short-form edits that reflect the atmosphere and emotion of live events. I regularly work with raw event and performance footage, applying colour grading and visual polish to enhance mood and cohesion. I am comfortable creating on-beat transitions and rhythm-driven edits that match the tempo and energy of electronic music, with many for short-form formats. I primarily edit in Adobe Premiere Pro and am confident interpreting reference videos and creative direction to match an existing brand style. I work efficiently, communicate clearly, and respond quickly to feedback. I am fully remote, have a reliable internet connection, and am available for fast turnarounds.
