Hi, I’m Ritika Ranjan, a textile designer from Pune with a background in ethnic womenswear and a rigorous academic grounding in textile design. I’m passionate about storytelling through varied textile materials and enjoy understanding real-world problems through material exploration. I’m looking for opportunities that combine my love for narrative with hands-on design and manufacturing experience, while I relearn and refine skills in a collaborative studio.
During my education at NID (M.Des in Textile Design) and my industry roles—from designer and print designer to co-founder of Sutra Studio—I’ve developed skills in vendor management, production, embroidery, dyeing, and printing, and I’ve collaborated with artisans and brands to create contemporary collections. I’m excited to contribute to a studio that values craft, research, and social context.
